Thomas Hartshorn began his professional journey after graduating from West Middlesex High School. Over the past three and a half decades, Thomas Hartshorn has accumulated diverse experience across multiple sectors.
When he started his career, Mr. Hartshorn was a driver at Broudy and Kantor Wine Sales in Norfolk, Virginia. He delivered wine to stores and restaurants, fulfilled orders in the warehouse, and operated forklift trucks. Afterward, he worked as a marine technician at Norshipco Shipbuilding, installing insulation materials on vessels for temperature control, removing hazardous materials from pipes and valves, and assisting with repairs.
After five years at Norshipco, Thomas Hartshorn joined Dairy Farmers of America in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, as a product preparer for shedding products and assisting with loading and unloading operations. Simultaneously, he served as a master whey technician at the New Wilmington branch, where he operated and maintained boilers and evaporators, supplied recycled water to plants, and condensed whey to various solid levels while ensuring proper machinery cleaning.
Thomas Hartshorn is currently a laborer at Custom Pallet and Mulch, where he constructs and repairs custom wooden pallets. He uses woodworking tools like tables, bands, and circular saws to cut lumber to specifications. Mr. Hartshorn also operates a forklift to move finished pallets and raw materials.
